Shift was founded in 2009 in Philadelphia with the ambition to create expressive options for outdoor lifestyles.
Shift is the furniture design and manufacturing arm of architecture and placemaking firm Shiftspace. Each object is manufactured in America through sustainable, contemporary techniques.
Furniture is integral to the way we experience life. Our designers study and reconsider the conventional to engage each design with a fresh story. The collection employs forms and materials, both natural and synthetic, that oppose a throwaway mentality and embraces durability.
